Carbon footprint reduction
Per board, vs. a conventional foam board, verified to the Grow Blanks lifecycle assessment (71.39%). A 100-board fleet avoids an estimated 37–55 tonnes of CO₂ — comparable to taking 8 to 12 cars off the road for a year.
Acres of carbon-fixing agave
The source farm — one of the world's largest sisal estates — sequesters roughly 1.74 million tonnes of CO₂ every ten years across semi-arid land where little else grows.
People employed at source
In a Kenyan county with around 45% unemployment, the farm employs 3,000 people and houses some 11,000. Every board connects to that — a real SDG 8 outcome.
